Tried the local fish and chip shop on a Friday night after the new owners took it over, the shop is now nice, clean and no longer cluttered. The young guy on the counter was very polite and friendly. We ordered the hamburger combo along with the calamari and chips. The burger was bigger than I thought with all the salad and the patty was a decent size and cooked perfectly. The calamari was huge and tasted amazing, the chips were spot on with a nice crunch. We will definitely be going back on a regular basis.

First visit and was not disappointed. Chips were great crumbed fish was well cooked potato scollops crisp. Best takeaway I’ve experienced in Ipswich. Will definitely be back to try some other menu options.

I am addicted to fish and chips. Wherever I go in Brisbane or the Gold Coast, I always buy fish and chips. I visit at least 200 places a year. I have a keen eye for crumbed cod, and this place truly exceeded my expectations. Even though it’s not by the sea and is located in Ipswich, the freshness of the fish and the cooking skills are outstanding. I highly recommend everyone visit this place and give it a try. Recommended dishes: • Crumbed Cod (No. 1) • Crumbed Mussels • Fried Scallops Personally, I prefer crumbed batter.

Just moved here from brissy, and this is probably the best fish and chippy I’ve had. Fish has amazing crumbing, chips are proper fish and chip shop chips. Proper big fish burger. 10/10. Been here a month and have been here 3 times already.
